THURSDAY 29th AUGUST - Festival Village Opening Night from 5pm Celebrate the opening night of the festival with performances by Simon Drew, Carl Wockner and the Todd Hardy Swing Orchestra featuring Anita Spring - pack your dancing shoes !

FRIDAY 30th AUGUST - We have a massive day in store for you! Headlining Friday night in the Festival Village we have Monica Trapaga, James Valentine, Wayne Kelly Trio and more! Friday is also the day we close Hastings Street and roll out TASTINGS on HASTINGS. Jazz River cruises commence departing from the Festival Village, we have a special stand-up comedy performance by Catherine Deveny in the Festival Village and we kick off with the first round of heats for the WIN Network's Get Noticed Talent Search... plus a whole lot more!

The Idea Of North

SATURDAY 31st AUGUST - The Idea of North, Gregg Arthur and Casper Tromp Quintet, Youth in Jazz, Jazz River Cruises, the Billy Holiday Show - Legends Lunch Series, Women in the Entertainment Industry panel with Catherine Deveny, Leigh Carriage, Susan Daley, James Valentine hosting a panel on "Is Jazz dead?", the heats continue at the WIN Network's Get Noticed Talent Search, Official venues are in full swing, and the list goes on! Saturday is packed full of entertainment - we suggest suncream and comfy clothes to make the most of this great day!

SUNDAY 1st SEPTEMBER - Warm up your vocal cords as you'll be in for a treat with your acapella workshop with the Idea of North in the festival village (how fun! You get to sing with them!), learn about the music business from the agents and managers who work in it at our music industry panel, pull out those dancing shoes again and kick up your heels to the Big Bands, celebrate the winner of the WIN Network's Get Noticed Talent Search, and closing what can only be described as a massive 4 days, you'll be treated to the twilight concert and closing act for the festival - Elixir featuring Katie Noonan.

Love Billy Holiday? You're in for a treat!

Enjoy a delicious 2 course lunch with complimentary glass of Sirromet Wine on arrival as you are entertained by the Billie Holiday Show!

Popular Melbourne based jazz singer, Rebecca Mendoza will treat audiences to the music of Billie Holiday. Accompanied by the Joe Ruberto Trio with Joe Ruberto on piano, Andrew Swann on drums and Michael Tortoni on bass, Rebecca will cover some of Billie Holiday's greatest songs.

From soulful ballads such as "Good Morning Heartache" and "God Bless the Child" to toe tappers such as "Them There Eyes" and "Mean to Me", this 2 course lunch is an experience not to be missed.

The RACV Resort will once again treat you to a delicious menu:

Honey baked ham, speck bacon, sultanas and chorizo, tomato marmalade and piccalilli
Classic prawn cocktail

MAINS

Parmesan coated chicken supreme with char roasted capsicum, sundried tomato and basil, sweet potato rosti
Crispy skinned Atlantic salmon, seafood brandade, casserole of vegetables
